Disclaimer:
It’s important to note that many STDs/STIs may not cause symptoms, especially in the early stages. Regular screening is recommended for sexually active individuals, regardless of whether symptoms are present, to detect and treat infections early and prevent complications.

Why We Should Do STD Screening

Early Detection:
STDs/STIs can hide without any signs, especially at the start. Screening catches infections before they show up, helping to start treatment quickly and lower the risk of problems.

Preventing Spread: If untreated, STDs/STIs can easily pass partners, spreading the infection. Screening finds people who might not know they’re infected, so they can get treated and stop the spread.

Protecting Your Health: Regular STD/STI screening is key for healthy, especially if you’re sexually active. It lets you stay in control by knowing your status, making smart choices about sex, and keeping yourself and your partners safe.

Reducing Risks: Without treatment, STDs/STIs can lead to serious problems like infertility or long-term pain. Screening catches infections early, so they can be treated in time to prevent these issues.
